Participate in the Hispanic Heritage Virtual Talent Show!
Students can submit entries through Oct. 12. Awards Ceremony will be broadcast Oct. 15. Guidelines: Must be an AISD student (Pre-K-12). You may participate with your family! Submit videos or photos celebrating Hispanic culture (English or Spanish).

When is the first day of school? September 8th. As you have heard, the AISD School Board voted to delay the start of school. The new starting date will be September 8th.
First Day of School 9/8/2020
Welcome back, Galindo Grizzlies! This year will be different, that's for sure! We will all be teaching and learning virtually from home for the first 4 weeks of school. From there, we will be phasing in face-to-face instruction.
Austin ISD Board Vote
Our AISD School Board will have a special meeting on 8/6 at 9:00pm to consider pushing back the official start of school date to Sept. 8th.
